[412] GREAT PNC Baseball, today,
Hi,
#1. Join us in the stands today at PNC Park, (gates open at 3:30 pm,
game at 4:30), for the City League Baseball Championship Game as the
Langley Mustangs take on The Dice Dragons.
This is one of the best community events each year. And WPIAL and
state playoff games yet to come.
(See my blog as I'll be getting autographs at the game.)
#2. KQV's radio poll today asks about the re-formation of the Pgh
Ethics Board. Built in oversight should happen, as per our city's
charter. But that has been ignored for many years by the Murphy
Administration. Now it is time to get that going again. Then we might
be able to get away from the TWO Oversight Boards (ICA & Act 47) that
do next to nothing anyway and "WHICH" hunts on miss-spending members
of council. (
(See my blog to learn what I mean by WHICH, not witch, HUNT.)
#3. I'm hosting a "HOUSE CONCERT" with a fantastic recording artist,
singer/songwriter, Joe Jenks, on Friday night, June 2 with program to
being at 7 pm and 8:30 pm sharp. This is tied in with a seminar on
Saturday called, "Labors Lost Legacy" that happens at the Friends
Meeting House.
The concert (with music and message) helps to kick off efforts to
reach to unions and modern workers while getting onto the November
ballot for PA Senate, 42nd district, as an INDEPENDENT. Furthermore,
I'm support Russ Diamond's effort for Governor, and he'll need more
than 100,000 signatures! I only need more than 500 on my nomination
papers. You're help and interest in these efforts are welcomed so
voters in Pennsylvania have a real choice on our next election day.
Ta.
